Tons of new ideas!

I've had some new items come to mind that I want to add to my store at some point.I had a super cute idea come to mind tonight for some neat children's art. I am so excited to try it out and see what to end result will look like! I'm gathering the concept from a couple of clothing catalogs,some artwork I made for BellaRosa's room,and the artwork I made for her nursery. I want to see what other concepts I can do with the same idea. I need to try to have some stuff geared towards boys also. I can't wait to get started on one!
I also decided that I would like to try my hand at jewelry making. It looks easy. I know that it will be tedious but I believe that I can do it. I just think that it's another alley of designing that I can have fun with. I am hoping that after everything gets launched and some inventory built, maybe I can try out a craft show of some sort.
Well I believe that it is time to try to turn my brain off and get some sleep. I have such a hard time settling down when I have so many new ideas shooting through my big brain.

Life is What Happens While Your Busy Making Other Plans.

My,how crazy things have been lately! I haven't worked on my Etsy stuff in a few weeks. I've been trying to study for my Group Fitness certification and that is going slowly. I should be doing that right now as I speak. Or type. I have begun the Rags Land AND Shrimp and Grits selling periods for their spring/summer lines. I have 5k coming up this weekend along with plans to do the Cooper River Bridge run in March. Monday evening Bella took a little tumble down the last step onto the walkway. About 20 minutes later she began showing signs of a concussion so we spent 3 hours in the ER. The CT Scan was fine. Just so happens that she got hit with a tummy bug right after the tumble. So on that note, it is now Wed. and she is still feeling pretty yucky. Needless to say, I'm waiting on it to make its rounds through the rest of our household. I was really planning on BeBes and YaYas to be running by this point but I don't know if I'm coming or going these days. I figured that I have several things going on that will be done by mid Feb. so I'm resetting my goal date to March. I'm going to cut it short today due to the fact that I have my Fitness Theory & Practice book open beside and I know what I need to get to before it's time to begin dinner. Welcome 2010!

Well we have made it into 2010! I'm in the process up setting up my Etsy store. It deosn't seem to stay dry long enough for us to get outside and get some pictures for my listings. Slowly but surely it's coming along. I've also been in the process of redoing Bella's room and working on some artwork for Carson's room. This has given me some great ideas of items that I want to add by the Spring. While all this has been going on, I have also been working on my spring/summer selling period for the two children's clothing lines that I sell for. Whew! Did I mention that tomorrow night I officially begin teach a water aerobics class on Thursday nights. Haha. I'm just a jack of all trades! Instead of blogging right now, I need to be studying for a certification that I have to take in Feb. and another one that I may take in March. I don't know how to do anything halfway. I just jump in going ALL directions.haha. It keeps things interesting though.It just means that I never get bored.So I'm going to cut this one short and go sketch out the robots that my son wants in his room so I can get them painted tomorrow while he's at school.Until next time, have a blessed day and remember that God loves you!

What Bebes and Ya-Yas is.

BeBes and Ya-Yas is a new project that I have been wanting to do for about a year now. I began with one direction and have veered a little. All in all, it is somewhat the same jist. I have a 4 year old son that answers to many nicknames. From very early on, BeBe has been one of them. My 1 year old daughter is my Ya-Ya. If you have ever read Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, you know that they are a group of fun spirited, sassy women. That would descibe my daughter. My Ya-Ya.
I have many visions for the path that I would like BeBes and Ya-Yas to head. As of right now, I am starting out small. Handmade,custom tuts, bows, etc. It has been crazy around our home the past few weeks due to the holidays. Once things slow down, I have some more items that will be in the works. I hope to have a website up and running around the first of the year. As of right now, you can view items and purchase them or place a custom order at Beauty and the Beads in Dillon, SC. By the first of the year, items will also be available through Etsy.com.
